The name "Street Saint" refers to a savior or guardian who protects and aids others on the street level. In other words, a street saint is anyone who is looking out for the interests of those in his/her community. For more about me specifically, see the About Street Saint page.
Check out the new post on the blog about GlobalGiving.org. The website is a compilation of hundreds of charity projects geared toward improving animal rights, climate change, world hunger, and a host of other issues.

Street Saint is a firm believer that humans have a responsibility to take care of the planet they live on. To this end, it is important to adopt a lifestyle that reflects these beliefs. Idealist.org has started a new campain to help people make positive and progressive change in the world.
I am on board with this new initiative, and I ask that you also consider it as well. For more information, head to Idealist.org/more to find out what the initiative entails.
I am now using the blog carnival website to gather stories relevant to the topics I cover on my blog. On January 1st I will publish all of the best and relevant content that I gather from a number of different blogs. The theme is relationships, both successful and not successful. If you have a blog and have a story or advice you would like to share, head to the carnival submission page to find out how you can be published on Street Saint!
As of now, my first goal (sub-goal really) is complete! The challenge was to perform a random act of kindness each day for two weeks. Ultimately, the challenge turned out to be much harder than expected, but I was successful.
To find out more about the goal itself, check out the description and declaration of the goal, or look at the archives to see all of my posts about my progress and completion.
